- Providing enriching cognitive, emotional, social and physical experiences in childhood could transform our culture. But before our society can choose to provide these experiences, it must be educated about what we now know about child development.

§ identify those systems serving children and families that may have a role in preventing or treating childhood trauma,
§ learn what each of those systems may be doing to address childhood trauma,
§ find where there may be gaps or overlap among the systems,
recommend long-term and short-term objectives and actions that the ICTC could pursue in suggesting better coordination among or improvement in those systems, including resource allocation and growth.
