Committee Charge:

Professional Development

§           Develop, as appropriate, a consistent training message about childhood trauma

§           Increase our knowledge of the demands and capacity of the existing professional development and training in the field of childhood trauma   

§           Advise the Coalition on all areas of professional development

§           Review existing child trauma curricula and recommend use with professionals in particular disciplines or child-serving systems.  Determine if there are gaps in existing curricula and evaluate the need to develop supporting materials or a new curriculum targeted to audiences in Illinois.
